Shop before you drop! Two for one! It’s just shopping but in another form!
It’s time to (rise and) shine again! The shining star of today is Sanna Laitinen, our Azure Data Engineer. Sanna loves cycling, which she does a lot. Chopping vegetables on the other hand isn’t one of her favorite hobbies. Well, does TV shop offer anything to make chopping vegetables exciting and fun? Let’s figure that out!
Sanna Laitinen has worked in the process industry for five years in software development with various technologies. Lately, she’s been focusing on building data solutions in Azure while learning Big Data and Data Science.
Originally, I’m from Northern Savonia, though I’ve almost lost my accent. I used to work in Tax Administration and Neste. It’s been a major change to switch from such large organizations to a small, agile company like Zure. Even though I graduated from Aalto University, I have gone back to study Big Data and Machine Learning, I’m really excited about these subjects.
I’d like to say our people and culture, but to be honest, my new bike provided by Zure might take first place. I kind of like that bike.
Usually, my day starts with breakfast, and then, together with Ville, I negotiate which restaurant we should pick for lunch. Then I’ll try to get my workmates to play Worms with me or recruit new members to my Ultimate team. When I have time away from these main activities, I build data pipelines and wrangle data.
I hate chopping vegetables so a Nicer Dicer might be my pick from the world of TV shops. Or a table grill, then I could annoy my co-workers by grilling at my desk.
Go for it! I haven’t regretted joining for a second. You can get a wonderful bike and use the newly renovated showers and drying cabinet. What else could you want?
