We always start with a cloud assesment, during which the migration path for different workloads are identified.
Usually, different applications require different migration approaches. For example, your existing applications that rely heavily on Operating System (OS) components or specific frameworks can be migrated to cloud using VM lift and shift or it can be refactored using containers. Some applications can be rearchitected directly to Azure App Services and PaaS SQLs and so forth.
