Hi, I’m Lau, and I’m excited to introduce myself as Zure’s very first Business Development Manager!
Joining Zure feels like the beginning of something special. Not just for me, but for our entire team as we continue to grow across Finland, Belgium, and Denmark and just established a new office in the UK.
Why I joined Zure
For me, joining Zure was about two things: people and expertise.
The level of technical excellence at Zure immediately stood out. Working alongside Microsoft MVPs, Regional Directors, and other top experts is something I’ve experienced before and have missed. Reuniting with Kenneth, Zure Denmark’s Founder, was another huge plus.
Then I met Sakari, Zure’s CEO. That conversation made it clear: Zure is a place where I can share ideas, make an impact, and enjoy the journey.
My vision for Zure Denmark
My mission is simple: establish Zure as the go-to Azure expert in Denmark.
With over 3400 Microsoft partners in Denmark, very few focus exclusively on Azure like we do. My goal is to ensure Zure is top-of-mind when companies need Azure expertise, whether it’s for development, security, or infrastructure.
Here’s what sets us apart:
- Microsoft Cloud Partner Designations: We’re in a unique position, not only because of the incredible talent within Zure Group but also due to our Microsoft Cloud Partner designations and three specializations. Only four other companies in Denmark share this distinction.
- Azure Expertise + Security: Another key area I’m passionate about is combining Azure expertise with security and managed services. Security is a growing concern, and the ability to offer comprehensive solutions that integrate advanced security with Azure is a niche where we can lead.
If the challenge is complex and interesting, Zure thrives.
Authenticity, expertise and long-term partnerships
What makes Zure unique is a combination of authenticity, technical depth, and culture. We’re a small, agile team in Denmark but part of a larger international group that’s packed with talent.
This combination allows us to offer the best of both worlds: personal, boutique experience with dedication and attentiveness backed by serious expertise.
Personally, I’ve always believed in being honest and straightforward with customers. I also love that Zure embraces failure as a chance to grow. Early in my career, I took customer rejections personally, but over time, I learned that it’s just part of the journey.
Building meaningful, long-term relationships where both sides win, is the most rewarding aspect of my work. I believe in being transparent, listening more than talking and focusing on long-term partnerships.
On a more personal note
Here’s something that surprises people: Despite my sales background, I have a deep interest in Azure and security – so much that I’ve impressed a few tech-savvy colleagues along the way. 😊
Oh, and I’m also a proud father of four so juggling priorities and staying focused is second nature to me!
Looking ahead
In the next 100 days, my focus is on building a strong sales pipeline and making Zure Denmark a household name in the Azure community.
While we’re new in Denmark, Zure is already a respected name in Finland. We combine a local, boutique feel with the strength of an international group of talented professionals in security, managed services, design, and development.
I’m looking forward to helping customers tackle complex challenges, grow their businesses, and leverage the power of Azure with Zure’s expertise by their side.
