Zhallenge: Where Camaraderie Meets Competition

Zure is a team-focused company. We don’t sell our experts as resources to our customers. Instead, we work in teams. These teams have many internal processes that ensure both individuals and teams are content and thriving, all while delivering top-notch quality to our customers.
However, if we aim to become the highest quality problem solver globally by 2040, we can’t just optimize the core teams. Especially in this hybrid era, it’s even rarer for people from different teams to meet. It’s the weak links that suffer when individuals from different bubbles don’t interact.
We strive to burst these bubbles as often as possible with various events, strengthening our weak links in the process.
Zafari is our crown jewel when it comes to events. It gathers all of us from every Zure location for a weekend brimming with good food, new experiences, and most importantly, outstanding company.
The esteemed tradition of annual Zafaris has grown and evolved since its inception. Zafari has always involved a trip abroad, with destinations including cities like Budapest and Dubrovnik. Admittedly, travel was easier when the company was smaller, but booking trips for a larger group is a welcome challenge.
In 2022, after a couple of years’ hiatus due to Covid, the entire company headed to Pärnu, Estonia. Last year, we ventured to Stockholm, Sweden. This year, it was time to explore Prague in the Czech Republic.
The main purpose is to unite the entire Zure community.
Our offices are significant to us. We host a full company event at least biweekly: Brekkie or Zureday. Both are hybrid-friendly, yet most of us now join in person. Brekkies involve – you guessed it – breakfast, along with a company-wide retrospective. Zuredays are for disseminating information from sales, teams, recruitment, finances, and more, followed by a company-sponsored lunch. Additionally, every other Friday we have ZIF (Zure-It’s-Friday!), where we might share a beer or play board games. So yes, food is our usual gathering point.
Beyond these official gatherings, we’re constantly innovating and organizing all sorts of events to bring people together. We’ve hosted events for families and friends on Easter, Christmas and other holidays. Summer barbecues on our terrace with the friends and families of employees are always a hit, filled with laughter and good times.
But really, there’s always something happening at our office. You never know when “Mistake Donuts” might be available (we encourage open dialogue about failures and learning opportunities) or when someone might be hosting a Minicode in the kitchen (internal training on just about anything). There’s always a lively buzz at the office.
Though we’ve just returned from Prague, rejuvenated and energized, of course, we are already looking forward to Zafari 2025. Who knows where we’ll land next!
Our newsletters contain stuff our crew is interested in: the articles we read, Azure news, Zure job opportunities, and so forth.
