Henri has been working with Azure for almost 5 years, mainly focusing on the managed Azure concept. However, he also has a good understanding of hybrid environments. He has knowledge about different Azure services from IaaS to PaaS. He has worked as a specialist and consultant to help customers to move and utilize Azure services.
From a very small town called Saarijärvi! Professionally, I’ve been doing this Azure thingy for 5+ years now in various roles. Mainly in managed Azure perspective; optimizing and improving Azure environments. Be it cost optimization, security, networking, DevOps, or governance-related stuff, so I’m kind of Jack of all trades, Master of… Something?
I had some good experiences with Zure via seminars and some projects. I thought that they were hard-core professionals. I had also some old colleagues in Zure and I knew they are professional and nice people. So when I heard that Zure culture is exceptional and Zure could challenge me professionally, I was intrigued. When the opportunity came to join the crew I thought “Why not?”
It was fairly easy to join during Covid since I’m used to the remote-working culture. The company-wide Teams meetings helped me a lot to get to know people. Of course, it also helped that I had old colleagues in my team. They got my hand down to work pretty fast.
Sports, music, and outdoors. Outdoors have been a must for me during Covid. It’s kind of a ritual to stop working and start thinking about some other things.
Going for the gigs. I have numerous tickets to the gigs that have been postponed. Going to be a busy ride when those can finally be arranged. Also or maybe I would like to go for a vacation somewhere warmer!
